Privacy Policy
Last updated October 30, 2026
Aphrodite lets you describe flowers, grow them in 3D, and send them with a personal love note. This page explains what we keep, why, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
- Your gift: the flower description, the occasion, the names you write for yourself and the recipient, and your note. These are what make the gift, and they are stored so the recipient's link can open it.
- Sign-in (if you sign in): your name, email address, and profile picture from Google or Facebook, and a user ID from Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your password.
- Payments: when you buy, PayMongo or PayPal handles the payment. We keep only the payment reference, the amount, and its status, to know your purchase went through. We never see or store card or wallet details.
How we use it
- To build, unlock, and deliver your gifts, and to show the recipient what you made for them.
- To know which plan you have and how many gifts remain.
- To answer you if you contact us.
We do not sell your information, show you ads, or share it with anyone except the services that run Aphrodite: Google Firebase (storage and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), and PayMongo or PayPal (payments). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
Who can see a gift
Anyone with a gift's link can open it, so share it only with the person it's for.
How long we keep it
Gifts are kept only while their links are open: up to 30 days from sending, depending on your pass. Wrapped gifts that are never sent are deleted after 1 day. Your account and its sending usage are kept until you ask us to delete them; see Data deletion. Payment records may be kept as long as the law requires.
Children
Aphrodite is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
